Fuck yeah. Agreed. Why would you need a current gen console with silent hill 1-3? Trust me, you don't want to play homecoming. >.<

Nah, not for the newer SH games. I haven't played any of the ones since we Westerners starting making them. (We can make good games, but our idea of horror is just not the same beast as Japan, so we should have stayed the hell away from Silent Hill.) My issue is that I'm actually losing touch with some other series that I like; my poor old-as-sin desktop computer can barely handle any of the newer games (and my laptop overheats if I so much as look at it funny). I guess if I had a decent PC, I would pass on the console and just switch to PC gaming. Upgrading the compy and buying a console would irritatingly work out about the same cost-wise.

Heard about the HD re-release, which got me pumped seeing as this is one of my favorite games ever.

Just finished playing through the Crysis 2 campaign (hardest difficulty of course). It was fun, but I do miss the wide open spaces that the original had and even more so in Far Cry. I did notice that the AI was pretty retarded at times. The enemy soldiers kept blowing themselves and their squad mates up with grenade launchers.
