Re: Vent Thread
Almost got in a car accident because some fucker thought it'd be awesome to squeeze in front of me while I'm on a roundabout. Cocksucker was looking me right in the eyes too when he did it. I'm grumpy, tired and pissed off -_- Too much shit today..
Ohh yeah and I guess I didn't post here but yay hospital again on Monday.

Kinda glad I dont work for him LOLMoonlight Soldier wrote:It's true. Except sometimes it's pencils and ballots @_@CorpseGoddess wrote: Apparently Vlad only starts stalking you once you work for him.
Suddenly, when you least expect it, he shows up---head askew with blank-eyed stare, arms extended out before him, dangling word documents from lifeless fingers. Chilling beyond words.
though my assistant has it worse. She has to share my bed and I apparently snore like a gutted pig (her words)
ok, venting time
REALLY wish some people would take the time to read contest rules
I dont mind answering questions, I DO Mind when they arent asked and people assume that a rule doesnt apply to them

Re: Vent Thread
I'm kinda depressed about this apartment we applied for, the day after we submitted the application the listing was removed from the website and the day after that we got a phone call telling us that the unit was already taken. I think we were banking too much on that place, and now we have to try and rush to find another place that we can afford. Not to mention probably losing the $150 application fee. They didn't even process it yet, but the receipt says that it's non-refundable, no exceptions. :/
I've just been bummed out all day, trying to find an alternative and everything is shitty or out of our price range.

The application fee thing sounds vaguely illegal. I know you can be charged one, but to be charged one on an apartment they already rented without even having processed your application? I'd look into if there's a recourse to that. A quick google reveals this website for aid on Chicago tenant issues, perhaps they could tell you more: http://www.tenants-rights.org/ or 773-292-4988 (monday - friday, 1-5pm).Ileia wrote:I'm kinda depressed about this apartment we applied for, the day after we submitted the application the listing was removed from the website and the day after that we got a phone call telling us that the unit was already taken. Re: Vent Thread
While complaining about school seems WRONG when compared to the events in Japan...
School has become such a stressful item for me that my blood pressure is through the roof, and I have more anxiety than I've ever had before in my life. I'm going from 5 AM until nearly 11 PM at night. I'm also failing a class, which has me FLIPPING OUT. I'm just plain exhausted...

My deep voice has always made it a problem for people to hear my real name correctly. I've been mistaken for "Bryan", "Royan", "Rayan", and even "Earn" at AX2007 WHEN I SHOWED MY BADGE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PERSON.
I've been working on being more social and have been making great progress at work. Today someone I talked to mistook me for "Soryan".
I'll give him the beneffit of the doubt since english isn't his first language and maybe he got it from "My name's Ryan".
BUT STILL. GAH.

That sucks.
I had a partially paralyzed vocal chord for awhile and being constantly misheard is really aggravating.... Really insanely aggravating.
