Kerbal Space Program
seriously fun stuff, build a rocket and launch it into space. though i seem to have a bad habit of designing rockets like a jackass and then trying to make them work :D

A buddy let me borrow Infinite Undiscovery in exchange for letting him borrow several of my PS3 titles, so I'm taking that for a spin. I'm trying to ignore the terrible voice acting. >_>

Re: What are you playing?
Finally got through the last few missions in Final Fantasy XIII, which means I'm finished with that game for good.
I started up Lego Harry Potter yesterday. Although I love the series of movies, I'm not a Potterphile really, so I haven't read the books. Thus, I feel like I'm not getting into it quite as much as I did with the Lego Star Wars games. (Huge SW geek here.) Don't get me wrong. It is good, shameless fun and I'm enjoying it very much. Because of the magic mechanic, it works a lot better than Lego Indy or Batman does, so if you liked the Lego concept with the Star Wars games and you Like HP, it's worth at least a rental or a bargain bin purchase. (I happen to be borrowing it from a friend.) On that note, time to get crackin' on that Basilisk...

Re: What are you playing?
I didn't mind the voice acting (in fact, Aya's VA was pretty darn good if you ask me). What got me was the lack of attention to detail in the character models for the cutscenes (faces were generally emotionless, mouth movement was akward...and sometimes not present at all). Most of all though, the cutscenes with Rico & Rucha were disturbing...it's like they were staring into my soul. (I just hate Rico & Rucha in general...they were never that good for me, just more dead weight. Give me Cooke and Mack from Lost Odyssey any day). Never managed to get a decent rank on the multi-party missions either.CodeZTM wrote:A buddy let me borrow Infinite Undiscovery in exchange for letting him borrow several of my PS3 titles, so I'm taking that for a spin. I read somewhere that IU was basically tri-ACE's test run with the engine they would later use in SO4.
By far, the most annoying part of the game is the Cosbana Timberlands...you'll know what I'm talking about when you get to that part

Re: What are you playing?
I made the mistake of popping in Catherine Sunday evening. Now I've been stuck playing that for the last few days and just can't pull myself away to even hit the sack. Just 1 more puzzle, 1 more night, ect....

Re: What are you playing?
Just started playing it again on my new phone. So much so that I now know the battery life for constant usage is something like 6 hours.Kitsuner wrote:Latecomer to the Angry Birds craze. It's pretty cool.
I also grabbed Inotia3 from the marketplace. It looks to be somewhat interesting, but would fit a tablet better than a phone for me because I apparently have large thumbs and it wants 1/4 of the screen to be covered with controls at any given time.

MINECRAFT OMG OMG OMG. It sucked me back in. >______<
EDIT: Oh, and Infinite Undiscovery turned out to be the only Tri-Ace game I didn't like.

Re: What are you playing?
So, Lego Harry Potter. After finishing it, my former verdict still stands: it's cute, but not as good as the Star Wars games.
Also, just found out firsthand about ten minutes ago that it has a semi-game-breaking glitch. Awesome. : | I can't say that I actually care about farming all of the gameplay out of it, but I'm not finished playing yet, so it's a little frustrating. Apparently this is a known problem with a few probable solutions, so when I actually feel like giving it a go again, I'll try those out. If not, then I'll just move on to one of the next games on the list. It's a toss up between Katamari Forever or Bayonetta. I'm leaning towards Katamari since I have it half-finished anyway from some time at my friend's house.
