I never said that that wasn't the case, just voicing my opinion.

I'm going to have to agree, they kind of kill a lot of fun of the game.

Anyhow, have gotten 3/8 of the endings in Catherine
Spoiler :
(only 2/3 of the true endings)
Just got Borderlands and Sin & Punishment: Star Successor for my birthday yesterday.

I agree for the most part. I can understand the thinking of "I've clocked 50 hours of this game and STILL can't find this thundersword" and wanting to use a guide to figure it out. But to just start the game and crack open a guide takes alot of the fun outta it.

Edit: BTW, played in some tournaments at Matsuricon, here's how they turned out for me:

Soul Calibur IV- 3rd/4th place (lost in semifinals).

Marvel vs. Capcom 3- 3rd/4th place (lost in semfinals).

Super Smash Bros Brawl- First round exit ( I suck at this game competitively).

Mortal Kombat 9- 2nd place (lost in finals).

Lotta fun.

Just finished Catherine. While the gameplay isn't my cup of tea, the story was pretty damned good.

I've been way too busy to dedicate any time to games, so finishing Catherine was a big accomplishment for me.

I finally picked up Digimon Dusk after a few years and beat it. Poor thing got buried by other games I had gotten around that time. Gonna try and finish up some sidequests before I tackle something else, maybe go back to Persona 3 Portable.

I've never bought a strategy guide, but usually on second playthroughs I'll check out gamefaqs or whatever to see what I missed.

Finally picked up the Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption. It's quite awesome, and the blunderbuss is freaking ridiculous. |:>
