Re: Vent Thread
It took me almost an hour and a half to log in.
The upside is that once you're on, the connection is solid and we didn't have any issues for 2.5 hours. Tried to log on now just to see, got in on first try.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

Re: Vent Thread
I was able to log on this morning and made my character.
Too bad I had to go to work after.

Do you have an idea of how to make it better? It might be time to "unfuck" the system... worse case scenario is you make the job/company better and no-one gives you the credit and punishes you for "changing things..." sometimes loosing a job is better than being stuck in a shitty oneCastor Troy wrote:Fuck, man. Still no *good* progress made on my missing product orders and the vendors want their stuff *tomorrow*. The majority of this bullshit isn't even my fault for the most part thanks to our stupid ordering system, but since I'm the one who made the orders, I'm responsible and will have to be the fall guy.
I don't know what to do anymore from here. I'm just ready for the eventual firing squad.
At least I can drown my sorrows in Diablo 3.

I have not been able to sleep for nearly 2 days now (work related, big client due), and it's really catching up with me. ;_________;

Only thing I can do now is wait for things on the other side to be fixed, so it's kind of out of my hands at this point.zibbazabba905 wrote:Do you have an idea of how to make it better? But I have done super awesome things for the company and have had others take the credit.

*four days earlier*
Mom promises that she won't smoke in this new apartment. She'll only do it outside.
*today*
Used ashtray in her room. Whole space reeks horribly of smoke.
I moved both that ashtray and her spare in the dining room to the proper area outside on a table with the third "legitimate" one. Let's see if she gets the hint.

Remember those fake gum packets with that spring in them that snaps your finger if you pull out a stick? Yeah...you should totally do it.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:*four days earlier*

You: "Hey, mom, WANNA SMOKE?"
Her: "Sure...AAHH F!@#$ WHAT THE--"
You: QUIT SMOKIN!
Whens the last time you and your mom had a good laugh about a silly thing? I know your relationship is a bit rough, but it wouldn't hurt to play around every once in a while. Hell, she might realize that quitting smoking would mean a happier life for you both. Of course this is all contingent upon you finding a joke cigarette pack...
