I can't sleep. For the past 3 nights or so, I try to fall asleep and I can't for hours. I've been averaging maaaybe 3-4 1/2 hours a night. 5-6 if I'm incredibly lucky.

All day long, I'm exhausted but when it comes time to go to bed, I end up tossing and turning for hours. People have told me to take PM medicine but that stuff knocks me out for at least 12 hours so I have to be careful about when I take it.

I am so tired. I just want to go home and not move but I've already missed 2 days of work due to it. My eyes hurt and if this continues on I think I'll have to get myself checked out. I'm just hoping my body catches up with my mind and figures out "HEY! YOU'RE TIRED AS FUCK. WE SLEEP NOW, YES?"

My site got hacked. I spent hours editing scripts one page at a time. Then I recalled something I read years ago, when I first made the site, about my webhost providing some sort of automatic backups. I ended up replacing the pages I had edited as well as the ones I hadn't gotten to yet. Now my elbow is killing me from all that nonstop button clicking. Guh. Why do I always have to do things the hard way? I swear, give me a can of food and I'll hack away at it with a knife until I'm completely worn out before it suddenly occurs to me to get a can opener.

There was an earthquake in Emila-Romagna tonight. I'm in Lecco (Lombardia) at a friend's place currently, yet it actually woke me up; it was that strong, 5.9 Magnitude actually.
Seems damages were rathers serious. Currently "only" 4 known deaths, but chances are the number is going to rise... and our country's economical situation isn't so bright, so this possibly had one of the worst timings, too.
