 excuse me if you felt I was rude, it's just that for everybody in this region the caribean islands are like the paradise for any of us...

If you find the right beachs that's it :ying:

Holy my, I'll be happy with 50F :awesome: I'm hoping if one of these days it could rain, we really need rain :uhoh:

Hawaiian weather:

Yeah, near the AIRPORT, maybe. What it doesn't tell you is that the scattered showers that hit the asphalt and concrete on the other parts of the island vaporize instantly in the blaring sun and create one big sauna. And the semi-monthly vog (volcanic fog pushed overseas from a neighboring island) that smells like ass and gives even non-asthmatics the choke. Other than that, can't really complain about the nice overcast we get every once in a while.

On my trip to and from work i was like "Fuck, I shouldn't have brought a jacket...fuck, shoulda brought an umbrella...fuck, shoulda worn shoes...zip up jacket...unzip jacket... :uhoh: HEY GOD! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!"
Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

Wow, that sounds an awful lot like Michigan. :uhoh: Except replace vog with 'potential chance of snow showers next week'. At least that's how April went.

Speaking of crappy weather. 91+ both Sunday and Monday with probably 70-90% humidity. If I had/have to go anywhere this weekend, especially since the lakes haven't warmed up yet...I like warm weather, but not this warm and not this muggy. Particularly now that the mosquitos are out in full force. :x

Physically, mentally, emotionally exhausted. You'd think I would sleep more than 4 hours. >.>

Moving.

Matt scheduled everything, and I mean everything, for today. The truck, the electricity, internet, getting people to help, etc... Except I'm going to be at work for 10 hours.

But that means you don't have to lift a finger, right?

No, that means that since I can't be there helping and making sure everything gets done right/on time, I'll be it at work stressing about it.

Headache + acid reflux + noisy, misbehaving cat + sleeplessness due to dealing with the previous = not a very happy camper right now.

When my reflux acts up, the only way to deal with it is to sleep, or it just gets worse. My throat clenches up, I can't breathe, and I dry heave uncontrollably. That's about where I am right now. I did manage to fall asleep for a few hours, but then I had to get up to deal with some stuff and now I can't get back to sleep. Blech, just trying to wait it out now.

/first world problem

Today's my birthday and my manager just happened to schedule me for opening shifts five days in a row (in fact, I'll be opening all week), with today sandwiched right in the middle. These eight hour shifts become 9.5 because of it being a holiday weekend, and I have a forty minute commute on either end of my day. So, I have to go to bed at eight PM, wake up at three AM, and then I don't get home from work until around 4 PM. My best friend wanted to do something today, but she doesn't get off until eight. I'm seriously debating sacrificing an hour of sleep just to go out. (To explain, in my job, I work in very close quarters with my manager all day, and she's a major hen-pecker. It can be more than a little stressful sometimes, and then I go home to Mom, who... well, you all know that story. I'm pretty willing to trade sleep for fun some days.)

Anyway, I need the money, so I can't complain, but it's still annoying that it was this particular weekend.
