Thank God for Amazon. Luved the first game and I knew this one wouldn't disappoint either. This game is the very definition of how you improve everything that wuz good from the first game even better in the sequel. Haven't gotten too far yet but it's already one of my favorite comic-book hero video games of all time, wouldn't be surprised if it'll be my most favorite by the time I beat it.

Indeed. I just wish I had a way to get to and from gamestop tonight, other than a taxi... If I had enough I'd get a taxi, but alas. I guess I'll pick it up tomorrow... Unless... I'm just thinking, I have enough for taxi fare one way, I could trade in some games when I get there for the way back... Hm... It'd be so worth it...

Played through a bit of the single player BF3....
Spoiler :
Definitely a little underwhelmed. Visuals are top notch, but they insist on putting too much fog and dirt and grunge and particles and oh my god look how real this is over top of everything. On top of that, the enemy AI can aimbot you through that shit like it's no big deal. I found myself constantly getting killed when trying to do WHAT THE NPCS were telling me to do, "hey, follow me" yeah yeah, I'm right on your ass, now why am I dead. Oh, because there's no cover here, good going genius, I'll try somewhere else next time. Nope, dead. Shit. Well, let's shack up back here, let that fool run out, and snipe. Nope, dead. Shit. BF3 single player feels like a cheap knockoff of CoD. There is one thing that CoD has always done right with it's single player campaigns, and that's player entitlement. Sure, the NPCs give you orders, you have to follow them around, but you can also kinda do whatever the fuck you want. You can be in one of those situations where the NPCs are yelling to fall back, yet you flank the enemy like a fucking ninja, dual wielding P90's, and mow down 67 guys. Try that in BF3 and get instantly aimbotted.

Now, is it realistic to be able to dual wield P90's and kill 67 guys? Hell no, but it's FUN AS SHIT. Rant over I guess...I bought BF3 for the multiplayer anyway, so I'm expecting nothing short of perfection out of that.

BF3, multiplayer only so far. I must say I'm loving it. I do find it annoying that jets fly like bricks and are so restricted in the map. But then again I had a 12:1 K/D ratio in BF2 with jets, so maybe they needed a nerf. And I'm still trying to get a kill with the EOD bot...

I never played Oblivion, so I recently picked that up and am playing through it right now in preparation for Skyrim, which looks like every kind of awesome.
