thats a great album. if u havent listened to it, u should hear her umplugged album; her best album up to date in my opinion.
I haven't actually gotten around to buying that one yet, but I've heard it a bunch of times. It's definitely one of her best. :D

Is it just me, or are people confusing "Timeless Albums" with "Favorite Albums At The Moment?" :?

KMFDM - "Nihil"

Metallica - "Master Of Puppets"

Rage Against The Machine - I think "Evil Empire" would be more timeless than "Battle Of Los Angeles"

A few off the top of my head....
I'm out...

Maybe, maybe not. It's really a personal preference type of thing... An album that one person considers to be timeless may not be what someone else thinks.

In my opinion, it takes time for albums to become timeless, hence the name. An album can't become timeless a short while after it's release. If the popular albums you people named are still listened to, bought and respected in 5 years, then I will start to change my opinion. Until then, I stand firm that timeless albums are the ones that people draw their influence from.

And what genre would that be? Whiny-white-rapper hardcore? If you're going to say Rap-Rock, then I'll say it was pioneered by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthrax, Faith No More, Aerosmith/Run-DMC and 311.
