yes. because lp has never reached out to the rap community and they never said they'd like to corroborate with rap artists on a regular basis.bum wrote:both of you are making thoughs comments based on absolutely nothing, arent you?bort wrote:huh? it was probably lp's idea in the first place.PunkRockLove wrote:This is a sin...I don't know how much they paid LP to do that...but I hope they were threatened with their lives...talk about "selling out"...man, that makes me sooo sad.

My comments are based upon thoughts that make me sick to think Linkin Park is turning more to the Rap side than the Metal side...

I thought that other people remixed the tracks...DrngdKreationz wrote:yeah I'm not sure how well I digged the whole LPZ thing... but on the subject of reanimation.. yeah I liked it, and I think It's ok to release remix versions of your album.. but ummm.. aren't most remix albums the artist is putting together a showcase of remixes MADE BY OTHER PEOPLE!? LP went into the studio to remix their own album .. and at that point in time it was their Only MAJOR album release. I don't know but that sounded quite cheesy to me.
In any case, someone just told me in detail what this whole Collision Course thing was (the concert and the CD/DVD). I went to the website and listened to the Izzo/In The End song that was available.
I fear for the future of our children's music. But I'm still going to buy this album just for the kitch value. That and, sadly, it's one of the few 'creative' endeavors to have been released in the mainstream as of late...

Sorry, let me try this again. Jonathan Davis (1stp Klosr) and Aaron Lewis (Krwlng). Anyways, the rest of the post was going to say that Collision Course has made me into a non Linkin Park fan. I guess mainly cause I am not a Jay-Z fan.linkin park luv wrote:Reanimation was different from this CD with the simple fact that Reanimation had a different person mixing for each song...and the last two songs had Jonathan Davis from Korn 1stp( and Aaron Lewis from Staind.
In my opinion...remixing your songs once is ok, especially if you have multiple people involved, but remixing another batch of songs with only one musical guest. That deserves a nod of shame.
