I speak of Beck as a collective group. Beck may be one person, but it's the name of the band. Sorry, but I don't go flinging shit at everyone, like you, when they insult a group I like. Grow up. I still think THEY (as a group) suck. People say "Oh yeah, Aphex Twin, I love them." all the time, just ignore it. Your attempt at pointing that small little thing out only proves that you have nothing to back up your arguement with, you so you have to throw out a little detail that doesn't really help you much *claps* good job.Double O Ninety wrote:Zero, Beck is one guy. There is no they.
I'm still amazed that groups like this even existed (may I add in The Strokes, talking about talentless garbage made merely for the fact of selling an album. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks a band that comprises a song completely with ONE NOTE is good.) nevertheless, that's something else.
To say it simply, I just never liked Beck. One song was good, the rest made my ears bleed. The talent was lacking, so were the vocal skills, and all the songs sounded, amazingly enough, the same (of course, BPM, timbre (maybe not even that), and rhythm were different...a little).
One song doesn't make up for a cerear of bad music.
Of course, this IS subjective. But on an objective talent scale, Beck wasn't the largest pettle on the rose...probably a thorn...
