Hmm. I have others, but those are the bands that I listen to most often and the ones I have the most of.
Some nice bands you listed there, especially CoB and EToS ...

I agree that EToS is a good band, I just got A Virgin and a Whore not too long ago. Bands I'm into right now, though not necessarily favorites are probably
1.Skyfire
2.Kalmah
3.Dark Tranquility
4.Arsis
5.Vital Remains/ Anata/ Dark Funeral/ Insomnium...I can't decide

I looked up Nymphetamine by CoF earlier for no reason inperticular *cough* Exhumed Anguish *cough* *cough* And discoved it was a pretty good song. Then I looked up the band. I knew about them all through high school as I had some friends who listened to them. But when I looked them up I looked at their favorites list and discovered I have much in common with them. Cool. I wish I could have emailed them. The only two movies I think are missing from their list are 8mm and A Clockwork Orange.

I own Timeless Departure and Mind Revolution to me the band seems like a Power Metal abnd with a growl / scream vocalist, a pretty strange mixture but it works.

I would have added COF but after mannequine.. well lets say I won't ever be caught dead listening to that shit, they have tonned themself down so much its actually fucking annoying to listen to. And the video for Nymphetamine is attrocious, what is up with this band, have they made enough money to now sell out to the goths out there?

I want to hear both original and the down toned material. A few mentions of both types would be appreciated.

I personally think that Nymphetamine is a god awful piece of shit...but I don't want to impose my opinions on you, and you did ask so nicely

lol. While it's true that they were a bunch of sell-out Lestat rip-offs, I still think that they did produce some good songs. If you want the watered down stuff, you should try the whole Nymphetamine album, particularly songs like "Absinthe with Faust" and such...

sorry I can't be of much in that area, I personally stopped listening to CoF after Cruelty and the Beast. Some other songs that I would recommend are Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids, Beneath the Howling Stars, Funeral in Carpathia...etc. But that's just my opinion; others might disagree. In any case good luck, hope you find what you're looking for...
