I find it rather amusing how all of my favorite artists, at least until recently, were either old and ugly, or both. Only one exception to that appeared lately, Russian vocalist Inna Zhelannaya, though she'll slowly be edging into the 'old' category (I believe she is around 40 now). Another possible exception is David Sylvian, though he's also far from young now.
Is it axiomatic that pretty musicians make mostly crappy music?
