Urgency - Low Level Flight

Next one I'm buying will be Chris Daughtry's second album coming out sometime in July.

The new album is so funky, I love it.

That's why I should really use the preview function. Sorry for the doublepost.

All these albums seem so, goth/emo to me.

Clearly you know nothing of genre aesthetics then :amv:
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Nope. I listen to songs, and I don't normally buy albums.

Ah, part of the lost/deaf generation I see.

Call me old but I still see the album as the gold standard for artistic expression in music. Song-orientedness is really destroying the ability of artists to create conceptual wholes that are greater than just a sum of catchy tunes. Many of my favourite artists have already spoken out on this. It's all really part of the same societal ADD that is dumbing down art and entertainment in all ways, even AMVs. People like yourself just no longer have the attention span for a whole, diverse, conceptually-complicated work. I'll bet a lot of people who grew up in this sort of mindset don't even understand the feeling that holding a well-crafted, well-presented album in your hand gives you...

...get off my lawn, damn kids :nose:
