Cut the knuckle on my middle finger at work today. Damn thing keeps opening up and getting blood all over my keyboard. BULLSHIT.

Ask a couple people but nobody had one. Plus the nurse practitioner is closed for the day so boooo.
It's just incredibly annoying and stings a little. I get off in 4 hours and I guess I'll treat it then.

I was perusing the clothing department yesterday after work (looking for a work shirt, really), and I saw something that I thought was cute in the regular sizes. So, I went over to the plus sizes to see if they had anything similar, and of course, like every other fuckin' store on the face of the planet,
IT'S NOTHING BUT MUUMUUS, TARPS, AND PONCHOS.
Fuck clothing designers. Just because I'm fat doesn't mean I want to be unfashionable.
I know I've complained about this before, but good god, America is so generally fat at this point that you would think that designers would have caught up to this concept. I'm familiar with a few specific plus size stores, but they're so fucking expensive! I can't afford forty goddamn dollars for a t-shirt. I mean, it's not like I'm even trying to wear something sexy and tight-fitting. I just want clothes that aren't shapeless blankets on my body and don't cost half of my paycheck for a few simple pieces.
I was griping about this at work one day, and my (standard-sized) co-worker started going on about how nobody can find decent-fitting clothes easily and I'm not alone in that regard. I shut her up quickly by replying that until she has had the experience of walking into a store and knowing that she wouldn't be able to wear a single thing they sell that our situations were most certainly not the same. It's one thing to say that a piece doesn't fit well and entirely another to have the store not even carry your size.
And it's not like I'm making it any easier by being in a situation where I am angry, miserable, and stress-eating myself into the ground. I'm really hoping that I can turn things around this year. I'm sick of being "the fat one" among my friends, sick of being unhappy, and I'm sick of being sick of everything.
