Finally picked up Tomb Raider again. It has been about four months since I have done any recording for my Let's Play, but that's mostly because it's been too fucking hot to have all of the required electronics on at the same time with my door shut and the window closed (too much sound pollution otherwise). Now that the weather is cooperating, I can get back down to business.

Thing is, my first venture into new territory was not very pleasant. Lots of dying, lots of frustration. I'm trying so very hard to love this game, but it loves to be difficult with me. I believe my newest recording contained approximately five instances of me saying, "Why am I still playing this game?"

Then, I do things like climb the radio tower or stand on the vista above the Endurance and suddenly it's like, "This is so fuckin' pretty; I gotta keep playing."

Damn you, Tomb Raider.

Level 72 on Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, not much longer until I can battle Sephiroth and Xemnas.

Beat Sephiroth, Xemnas, and the 3 other extra bosses and finished the game with the secret ending, moved on to Wind Waker HD.

Misery 2.0 mod for Stalker: Call of Pripyat.

Never has a title been more descriptive of everything about a mod/game (from gameplay to visual aesthetics). I love it. I don't know what it says about me, but I do love it >__>

Fallout: New Vegas

Beat it a long time ago, got the bad ending because I rushed through it, so I've been replaying it for the past week. Just today I realized that I used the wrong tactics in dealing w/ the Brotherhood. Now my choices are continue on and have no chance of a peaceful resolution w/ the NCR, or load an earlier save that is an entire level behind where I'm at, several sidequests, and oh yeah, the hour and change I spent picking off everyone in the Legion from Cottonwood Cove to The Fort (ED-E + Boone = I can 1-shot people before they ever know I'm there)...including Caesar himself.

Damned. The game is still in alpha so it's far from complete, but so far it's been a blast. I highly recommend this, especially if you can get some friends to play with you on voice chat. Very creepy, and lots of fun.
