Every time I see stray cats and make attempt to get in contact, they run away like I'm some kind of vicious watchdog.
But then there's this cat who comes up to me and meows like Nyaaa.

So I gave up and gave him milk instead in the backyard. He ran off just before my mom comes out with a broom.

This reminds me... when Mom and I were cleaning out the last of the house and taking stuff to the landfill, we got there and the lady working started to tell us what we needed to do, when suddenly I felt a BUMP against the back of my calf. A petite black kitty had just rubbed my leg from outta nowhere! He was seriously the sweetest thing ever. He was a stray, but he absolutely adored attention. Then, on our second trip a little later, another kitty popped out of the woodwork, and she was just as sweet! Talkative, too. I gave her a hug and a kiss before I left. Too bad our apartment doesn't allow pets. I'd have taken them both home!

That's a roundabout way of saying, yes, I love it when kitties approach me, too.
