There's only one way to correctly spell a word. Not 2. In this case, he was obviously trying to spell "spelled" and instead spelled "spelt". No longer will you attempt to make me look like a fool. You shall not succeed.flint_the_dwarf wrote:No, actually both are correct spellings... "spelt" is past tense and past participle of "spell" but so is "spelled." Spelt, however, is not often used in that context. It's not used often at all, really, because it just sounds wrong.nailz1000 wrote:You misspelled "spelled".Relean wrote:First of all I could sit here and argue about how you spelt poser wrong. (Won't spell it correctly or you'll use it)

I don't listen to modern bands other than some Jrock.
I like traditional music from many peoples.
You ever heard of Los Churambeles de Espana?
If the Spaniards had brought them instead of Cortez the conquest would have been more of a welcoming. The music would be louder and the lovin would be wilder.

We have no set system of spelling for sounds.Jace Tsunami wrote:The English language is way fucked up. I'm sure if you wanted to argue that some one could pull up atleast 10 examples.nailz1000 wrote:There's only one way to correctly spell a word.
A makes several sounds by itself.
F, PH,
these are the result of a blending of languages. Therefore(theirfor, they'rephor), spelling becomes a chore. English is also known as a "coded" language. 1, 2, 3 mean nothing. In Chinese(Kanji in Japanese), 1 horozontal slash=1, 2 slashes=2, 3 slashes=3.
Reading in Chinese is relatively more simple than in English and takes less space.
Speaking on the other hand is a whole other story in both languages.
