Not just that. Sure, people can put down emotional songs, but I'm not saying it's limited to that. Look at what I put: Lynard Skynard - Call Me the Breeze. This is damn good southern rock & roll: electric guitars screaming, a piano blazing...etc. It is VERY energetic. It might not have the emotion of a sad song or something, but it is a song that will make you want to stand up and start clapping or dancing along with it.Vlad86 wrote:hmmm....just a question, this is suppose to be about songs that make you feel emotion right? Not just your favorite songs?
Songs so good they give you goosebumps

You can find some Bright Eyes and Dismemberment Plan, free of charge, at www.epitonic.com. As well as a bunch of other great bands (Ted Leo/Pharmacists, Death Cab For Cutie, ect).Lyrs wrote:That's a lot of songs. Hopefully Napster or iTunes will have them.

Wainwright, Cohen, and Buckley all grouped together. That is perfection.FoolThemAll wrote:Wainwright may have covered it, but the original is by Leonard Cohen. Buckley's cover is great, by the way.Kalium wrote:Someone mentioned Hallelujah. I believe the original is from Rufus Wainwright, but I might be wrong. Anyway, other great songs include:
Aside from that, one song that is sure to always get a reaction from me is Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever. Beautiful, beautiful song.

Just about any song from either of these bands, but if I had to pick:
"Another Time, Another Place" and "New Years Day" by U2.
"Take me Away (Together as One) by KISS (Paul Stanley), I'm thinking about using this for a Kenshin video someday when I've finished the series.

Probably too busy to be here right now.

Oh how convenient. A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope.
