Now don't expect me to provide painstakingly made and awesome immature pictures like this all the time. I have to pace myself or I start to actually annoy people.

(Not that I want to derail the thread any further.)
On an ON topic note, I have finally started reading the graphic novel, and so far I am fairly impressed by the depth. At first glance, it doesn't seem like it would take that long to read it, but it is an awful lot to digest. Might take me all weekend to finish it instead of two night as I had previously thought...

The point is, as I always read it, that Veidt wants them to 'find him out' so he can talk them around to his point of view and keep them from causing trouble / disturbing the utopia he is trying to build.Otohiko wrote:/facepalmTsunami Jones wrote: Also, one part in which I hated in the graphic novel, they made even WORSE (which is when Niteowl figures out a certain someone's incredibly easy password; instead of making hte scene a bit smarter, they instead made it dumber by having it be the title of a book on the shelf. The hell).
Seriously? That was one of just a few things I didn't like about the book and that I wish was done differently. How could they possibly make that even dumber?
Not a big deal, but one of those things that takes away some of the immersion in the realism of it all. Kinda like that thing at the end which godix mentioned as well.
I thought the film was unexciting and suffered from all the problems with pacing and over-detailing that I thought it would.
