The Happy Thread

Big paychecks this week for Adam and I, I was able to pay off a sizeable amount of my credit card debt. And I got some really cute "back to school" socks, gave Adam a new PSP game, and got a Black and White DS case for Kittles. Though not really on the "happy" side, for the first time in yeaaaars I got a super light sunburn today after being out in the sun for a bit. I almost never get sunburned, so it's a bit of a surprise for me. XD

I was talking to my grandma since i'm going out to the east coast in 3 weeks to visit. She was telling me how one of my cousins has become quite the soft ball player. Apparently she pitched a no-hitter the other day. That made me so happy. Other than my dad and myself, i don't think anyone else played hard/soft ball so it was really awesome to hear that my cousin is enjoying the game and doing well.

I got a new car! I recently sold my gas hog and finally found a really good deal.

And my air conditioning in my room was fixed!

All in all, it has been a very successful day.

We have some new house guests until this evening, where we will be shipping them off to a rehabilitation specialist to take care of them until they are older.

So cute. We've had raccoons and deer babies before for a few nights before shipping them off to animal clinics, but this one completes the hick collection.

Their mother died because of the excessive heat. Poor little darlings were crying outside our house. ;___;
