i never said they sucked ... i think they're pretty damn good. Just that it was really weird to see a brand new cd tossed in a bin full of rejects from the 80's.

actualy one of these days i'm going to give that group that they were before a try. Apparantly somone in the band died, and the old group fellapart for a while or something, and a few of them are back together in the mars volta... untill i went to the site i thgouth the lead vocals was a girl ...

man thats a high vocal range ...

It seems that everyone I run into has never heard of Queen. I would think that they are pretty well known. Here's what people say to me while im listening to my iPod.

"Hey what you listenen to?"
"Queen.."
"whoz queen"
"they sing "we are the champions"
"o! I know that song."

They were one of my favorite bands.

You must be running into all the wrong people. I have trouble finding people that haven't heard of 'em. Not that I'm looking.

Oh, and I'm not totally sure how obscure they may be, so I thought I'd ask: Alien Sex Fiend. I would ask about Killing Joke, but if they are in any way obscure I'd have to wonder (more) about this world.
