Also, her looks are getting worse! Back in the day she *used* to be hot...the Black Monarch wrote:Look at Britney's second album. It has a number of powerhouses, including "Stronger" and "Lucky," and very few "OMG these are such slutty lyrics" songs.
Look at her third album. I'm still in awe that songs as good as "Overprotected" and as bad as the Stupid Slave Song could even come from the same artist, much less the very same album. It's kind of like how I still can't believe a video as good as "The End of Me" and as bad as "Closer to God" can come from the same ErMaC, or how the songs for those videos can both come from the same artist (NIN).
Now look at the fourth album. I don't think there's one good song on it, and the two videos that have come out of it have both been exceptionally slutty (although Toxic was only slutty in a funny, grope-him-so-he-won't-notice-you-swiping-his-wallet kind of way).
I haven't heard all of her songs and I don't actually own any of her albums, though, so this could just be an example of when an album's crappier songs come out as singles before the good ones do *cough* METEORA *cough*.
But what ever will make money, so... it's out of our hands.
Look at all my trials and tribulations

Don't disturb me now, I can see the answers

oh well...what do you expect. Britney Spears was never exactly really thoughtful and insightful music, now was it. it was just supposed to make money..................................
and speaking derogitorily of female singers, what did everybody think of the "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl?
