you know why cant you peoplejust learn that Rap isnt at all good just like i was told

you cant spell crap with out rap now isnt that true.

If you want some more info then take info from people that listen to real music and not gay rap

Is that Linkin Park I see there? Doesn't that group consists of an emcee (rapper) and a turntablist (a dj who spins)? Aren't those the two main components to creating rap/hip-hop music? Yeah, I believe so. You claim that rap = crap, but yet you admit to like a group that incorporates said crap into their own music. good job at contradicting yourself

Whoa, whoa rap is gay. You didn't see me say that rock is gay didn't I. That wouldn't be fair to those that eat, sleep, and breed rock. You can't just bash hip-hop because ya don't get it. I seen the responses of the other rap fans. Some of them got too offensive and started too bash rock and the fans of rock or fans of any other music. I'm too much of a gentlemen to get ghetto. You probably grew up with rock and ya feel strongly about. I can respect that.

I agree with Jimi Hendrix and I like one Linkin Park song. See I agreed with you no bashing.
All music is real, except pop. I just got to get the right equipment ot make some AMV's that will hopefully be as good as any other genre of music. I'm not just using rap either. Heck, I might throw in some Stevie Wonder. Ya never know

the funny part is: you dont know how badly you'd be laughed at if you went and said that anywere else thats not just rockers. how the fuck are you gonna dance to as i lay dying, or ramstein? what i think you mean is cinimatic, wich i might agree with you. even in the most hardcore gangster rap songs, the tension of the song tends to stay at the same level. what can i say. ur suposed to dance to it.

why shouldnt the rappers bash rock? they're the ones being bashed in the first place! truth is, this thread isnt a polite exchange of opinions. no matter how poser the person who started this forum is, this thread know has one perpuse: to bash rap.

but for the most part, majin, im glad your outlook is a little more tolerant.

and i think thats the biggest problem. anytime you get alot of one group together, wether is rockers, rappers, metal heads, what ever (in this case i think its white kids... oops, being racist again) theyre gonna dog every other group out. and then they forget that their group isnt above critisism. do you know how hard it is to get laid in a school thats all about hip hop? rappers think rockers are NERDS!!! infact, everyone who's not a rocker thinks rockers are nerds(i get lucky, cuz the rappers hang with the rude boys, and the rude boys hang with the punks, so we can reach an agreement). in genral, how many rock songs can you dance to? (dont say mosh songs. if you say mosh songs you should be shot in the head)

here's something im desperatly wondering: why do you guys care so much? why do you have 2 pages worth to say on how and why rap sux? are you picked on by the rappers at school? why is it always some kind of morality fight with you kids and rap? wanna know what most people would think? YOUR NERDS!! you wanna pick up a fight and have some strong opinion. that way, at least you SOUND tough. its always "pick up the cliche argument your group makes and agrue it till death!"

rockers, metal heads mostly, just like to pass judgement as a genral rule. even on other rockers *caugh*caugh*punks*caugh*. you say shit like "i just dont like rap! and its my choice not to!" as if there's no malicious intent in bashing.

leme tell you something: i (and punks in general) hang with alot of kids. punk just wouldnt be fun if it werent for all the subcultures that hang around it! we hang with the rude boys, the skin heads, the rastas, watever! and look how different the music we listen to is. rude boys like stuff like the whalers, skins like sham 69, and... lets use the unseen to represent the punk muiscal taste. if you've heard at least 2 of these bands (im hoping every one knows the unseen or the whalers) then you see how totally different this stuff is! as different as rap and metal! these subcultures almost defind by their music, but why do they get along so damn well? fuck if i knew, but they sure as hell dont bitch about each others music.

in short: your all opinionated nerds. especially that lost souls kid. 19 years old, yeah right.

I know plenty of Black people who like metal. So it's not just us "White kids"... most high-middle class angry suburban white kids listen to rap while driving around in the SUV mommy and daddy bought them anyway. I don't even bother bashing rap anymore. I can't stand the genere itself, but it's not because 'I don't get it.' .. I just find it booring, repetitive, and listless. Its just pointless to go off and say 'Rap is gay!'.. it's fucking immature and stupid.

And just because you agree with someone on music MajinCanty, doesn't make you any better than anyone else. You like Hendrix, good for you. Just because you have some of the same tastes doesn't make for a peace love be happy scenerio. I sure as hell wouldn't agree with you that Rap is good. However, blatently insulting any genere is just stupid. Unless it's Prog-Metal, beause that all sucks anyway.

Underground hiphop as i said once before is vast. Its not the shit you have to turn on the radio to hear. Its music made by independents. They make it they market it.

Compared to rock hiphop is a million times harder. Not only are there beats that have to be created, which often are as various or more, than the basic rock beats. The lyrics are what make hiphop incredible. An entire rock song would be 8 bars in a hiphop song. I've heard canibus drop 48 bars with no hook. Thats rapping non stop 4 minutes. He was on some dumb shit talking about rebuilding atlantis.

When i said there are songs that fit anime, i meant it.
For anyone who wants to experiment and try it for themselves, find a beat that you like, and rerun the break, cut verses that don't fit your songs and continue to loop. I'll admit rap is hard to do a video for because the subject of some verses can range from love, life, to death all in one verse.

There are so many songs you can fit to anime.

Rock is simple, in actuallity overly simple.

Before you say that an anime won't fit into hiphop open your fucking ears to some hiphop acts in your city and listen to it.

And yes i can talk, because i am a MUSIC fan i listen to everything Rock, Country, Rap, Hiphop, Electronica, and Pop. My favorites though are Jazz and Trihop.

Wanna make a great AMV pull some DJ Shadow, James Levelle, or DJ Krush.
