Simple Question [what makes you hate rap so vehemently?]

I was going to start on a rap video really more for comedy, but maybe only my friends and I would appreciate it. It's not really commercial rap, and the song is several years old. I personally thought it was going to be funny. Should I reconsider?
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

the reason why i hate rap so much *mumbles something bad about rap* is because the beats never change and the damn rythem never ever changes. Now rock on the other hand has the changing beats and rythem, and when i listen to rock i dont listen much to the beat i listen mostly to the guitarist, bassist and and the drummer but not much even though iw ant to drum. The fact is i just hate rap with a passion. I swear if i had a katana i would slash all the tires of the car that has rap playing in it .

I feel that everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but to say something like the lyrics never change, now that's plain false. The same could be said about rock or most music for that matter. The themes of songs are recycled and have been recycled for decades now. Love, Hate, Pride, Vanity, Angst, Hurt, Joy.lostoursouls_666 wrote:the reason why i hate rap so much *mumbles something bad about rap* is because the beats never change and the damn rythem never ever changes. What music with lyrics does not express these themes. There are times when the music is more political with specific topics or themes, but the general ideas behind a song are from the above mention pool of thoughts. I have worked with rock, rap, religious, folk, and country artists and it is all the same.

I have to beg to differ of rap not changing in beats or lyrics.
especially right now. Rap, even the mainstream junk everyone here complains about, has been in a interesting transitional phase. Alot of the mainstream acts have been getting a little more creative on what beats they write up/sample. many have been looking for a fresh sound and its been spreading bringin a good variety of sounds to listen to.
