Going to Cornwall again today, hopefully I'll find a room for the four months until I get into residence... Cornwall residence rooms are twice the size of my current room, have a full-sized kitchen, fridge, huge desk which will be able to accommodate both 27' monitors and my HAF X, which is something I was worried about. \o/ Also, they're single rooms in the college itself (tiny campus), and I only have to share the bathroom.

Super long interview today went really really well o:

However, in addition to the fact that I'm worried about it interfering with NDK, it's waaaay out there. Bout a 30 minute drive D: So that means I'll need to get to work on getting my license. I dropped the ball on that last year since I was within walking distance of my work and I've never had the urge to go anywhere downtown without Matt, so I really put it off.

Luckily, I've just gotta take a quick permit test and then Matt's mom wants to enroll me in this driving school thing. It sounds like a pretty sweet deal though. They pick you up at your house on the days/times you specify you're available. They only give you as many lessons as you need, so if you pick it up fast then you'll only have a couple sessions max. Luckily, I've already got the basics down, I'm just a super nervous driver D: Plus, they administer the real driving test Not to mention, attending a school will get me a killer break on insurance rates

Hopefully I'll hear back from the job prospect next week or so and then I can get down to business with the whole driving thing >:O

Man, a job in my field that was only 30 minutes away would be nice. Last job interview I got was an hour away without traffic (though I don't think traffic would be too bad as I would be going out of town when everyone else should be coming into town).
