Re: Little things you hate?
Horrible thoughts. Example from work: a mentally handicapped individual had no perception/control of volume, and so he shouted things and made sudden loud cries, and the first unbidden thought in my mind was, "Would somebody shut him the fuck up?"
And then I immediately felt like a dick.
I will say in my defense, however, that having the thought and voicing the thought is all the difference in what kind of person you are. It can be hard to stop the sudden impulse to say something in irritation, but every time I do, I feel like I've made a little progress in maturity.

Agreed. You don't have to be your own thought police if you have some control over your actions. It's like drunken loud bums getting on busses or subway trains. Everybody sitting nearby is probably annoyed like mad but nobody does anything. Somebody might think that it's a sign of how alienated our society is but I rather like it.dj_ultima_the_great wrote:Horrible thoughts. I hate it when someone steals my bike three weeks after I bought it.

I probably didn't lock it properly. Whoever it was left my helmet locked up behind.HaarTheDragonlord wrote:^No lock? Or did they bust it?

Food Network.
No, that's not quite right. I don't hate Food Network. I hate the inflated drama in their reality TV, I hate how they are absolutely obsessed with their own celebrity hosts/chefs, and most of all, I hate the take-a-bite money shot that you have to see in every goddamn program.
I think they can have some good programming from time to time (Iron Chef America is always worth watching), but good God, they're awfully self-important anymore.

Inflated drama in reality tv is part of the reason I can't watch most reality tv.
Cause I can tell it's just the music/editing that's trying to inflate the mood and most of the drama is petty and stupid and easily resolved.

Registered to order a Rapsberry Pi some time ago. I get an email on Tuesday saying that I can finally place my order. When I click the link, the server is overloaded and they aren't able to take orders. Still haven't been able to buy the damn thing. I wish they would fix it, then SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Re: Little things you hate?
People on Twitter who retweet every single thing their favorite celebrity says. Get a life, would you? Kissing their ass won't make them love you, and living vicariously through them won't make you happy.
