I can't believe Britney Spears hasn't been mentioned yet....

I'd also like to nominate Richard Harris' "Macarthur Park" (which makes no sense whatsoever) and, in terms of classical music, John Cage's "4:33," a postmodern "song" in which a musician does nothing but sit and stare at his or her instrument for four minutes and thirty-three seconds while the audience gets restless. Yeah. My thoughts exactly.

Avril Levine can't sing, but some of her songs are actually good.
Celine dion sounds like shes screaching, but some of her songs are realy good lyrical wise.

Britney spears has no range, but some of her songs are actually descent. Like her latest one Everytime or whetever its called.

And Tamyra Grey CAN sing and has great range, yet her first cd pretty lack luster. Britneys song above should have been sung by her.

For the absolute worst song ever, or would this be worst singer ever... or worst song performed ever.... That one dude from American Idol. I need say no more.
