Tourniquet is a great song. For anything other than Fallen stuff, you'd have to go to P2P programs. Origin sells on ebay for like $100 a copy.

Haddaway's "What Is Love?" is my favorite.

...

But yeah. Chalk me up for "You" and "November."

It happens, of course.
Oooh, "Field Of Innocence" is a beautiful song... so is "Missing".... and I currently do a mad panic dash for the " + Volume" button on my stereo whenever "Anything For You" comes on... mainly for this line...

coz...yeh, I can apply it to... *voice takes on a "difficult subject" tone*...a person in my life right now... bah... emotional ambivalence is a frustrating bitch of a thing....

But yeh... all good songs. I don't care how mainstream Evanescence become. I've liked them since well before they were close to being mainstream... same as Linkin Park. I'm not just your usual preppy empty-headed teeny-bopper fan of these bands who'll lose interest after a month. the word "devoted" sums it up well

(although someone once told me the word "obsessed" would sum it up better, of course, this person, she thought that Michael Jackson was the best thing since sliced bread, and was convinced she was going to marry him someday. Did i mention she thought I was obsessed? Oh, and she was 19 too, so it cant be fobbed off as a crush, it was more a... full scale delusion. Thankfully she never screamed out his name when we were fucking... that wouldve been a bit awkward...)

That doesnt make me a bigger or smaller fan of their music. Just makes you a petty snivelling bitch when you try to cut me down. So I like a band you dont. If you cant handle it, then thats your problem, so you can just eat me, or have a coke and a smile and a "shut the fuck up."

And if you're gonna quote me and twist my words, at least make it funny, and make your "retort" something a little more scathing than "god, shut up." (although, considering I didn't actually speak those words you quoted, you're technically telling yourself to shut up...)

Don't try too hard though, I'd hate for you to give yourself a headache all for the sake of cutting me down. I mean, you're not worth the stress...

<.<

I mean.... I'm not worth the effort. Yeh, thats what I said.

Um, I like Evanescence, a lot. I just hate it when people start bragging about how they've liked the band before they turned all sellout and mainstream. Good for you. If I would have heard of them before they got popular, I would have to. Stop your attempted bragging, or being so insecure that you feel the need to tell the world you liked them before they wrote bring me to life.

Cry me a river. I wasnt bragging at all, if you want to interpret it as such and be affronted by it, go right ahead, but its not my problem. Out of all the people on here, you're the only one who seemed to think i was putting myself on a pedestal. Grow the fuck up, bro, and realise that you arent the only one on this earth with the right to express an opinion in a valid and non-insulting way. I was just saying that I have misgivings with people who only buy into a band because they are popular, or because their newest single is on hot rotation at their local radio station. Teeny boppers like that shit me no end. If you want to call yourself a proper fan of the band, u need to know just a little bit more about it other than the name of the most recent single (and usually getting it wrong) and half the lyrics to it, also mis-interpreted. People like that are what ruin a decent bands name. LP and Evanescence dont suck anywhere near as much as some people think, but a large portion of their fan base does. Which is sad but at least expected.

Just think about that before you start me for "bragging" next time, capish?

Yep, see, exactly going back to my original "I'm a real fan because" argument. I bought into evanescence because of their popular run on MTV. I guess I can't be a real fan. ;_; .. And no, I probably wasn't the only one who thought of that as bragging, I was just the only one who took issue with it enough to bring it up and try to provoke a reaction. You've probably never heard of Leprechaun, but I sure as hell won't be bragging about liking Damnagoras' since his Heathenreel Elvenking time, and that I've been bugging him about a Demo CD for his new band after they've become big in the folk metal scene. =P
