Bah. Getting overly hung up on genre is a symptom of insecurity.HungryCrackPot wrote:GOOD JOB ASSHAT.kthulhu wrote:Why choose between techno and metal? Listen to industrial and have both.
First off, Throbbing Gristle is Industrial. Rammstein is Industrial Rock. Two very different sounds. (guitars vs. distorted machinery and highly disturbing atmosphere)
Also, in terms of mixing the two genres, I would suggest something more along the lines of Buttrock Goa (yes, I am copying Ishkur). The Berzerkers old Gabba (not Gabber) albums have some good examples of that.
Actually, Speedcore shit is pretty good for the intensity and attitude, but it lacks the guitars.
I'm out...

That doesn't change the fact that your statement was incorrect and completely retarded. Also, you're only shifting focus in the hopes that people will look past the fact you made a stupid remark and think I am at fault for correcting something that was OBVIOUSLY wrong.kthulhu wrote:Bah. Also, I wouldn't get caught up in genres if you didn't incorrectly bring them up in the first place.
