Little Things You Hate

People getting butt-upset over literally everything and anything they can. It's as if people seek out a reason to be pissed so they can go "Look at me throw my opinion around, look at how annoyed I am with the world!" or "I hate this, I hate that." Or how just about anything that contradicts someones belief system or morals or whatever instantly gets a text wall from a person instead of "Well, I don't believe that so sorry." Are you so insecure about everything that you feel the need to just, well, go on a meaningless rant just to hate on somebody who has a different opinion? A healthy debate is fun, but there's just so much mindless hate in the world. I quit listening to the major news sources for this reason. There's nothing good or interesting anymore, just new things to fear and new things to worry about, and scores of people hating on something or someone.

Kind of ironic that I'm posting in this thread. On the internet.

I'll go back to the "Little things you love" thread instead, that's my favorite one anyway

Which is exactly why I've hidden all the posts from my most politically charged friends on facebook until the election is over and the smoke clears.

When you have every intention of calling someone on their birthday, and then get wrapped up in other things and then realize it's already 1am. Especially when that someone is your dad

Granted, that should go with a note that I talked to him the previous night, and that my dad hasn't ever called me on my birthday and has largely ignored its existence for several years now (even when present in person) - but that's him being him, and I have my own principles to hold, so that's not going to make me feel like less of a dick for missing it today. Normally I'm a bit more attentive than this to people

Also, I hate my forgetfulness, inability to multitask, and tendencies to space out in general sometimes.

I love being a creative person, but I hate when I get too over-creative to the point of not being able to sleep since I'm constantly pondering stuff in bed.

Yesterday, I was thinking about a whole bunch of things I wanted to film and got excited about them. I forced myself to go to bed at 2 and couldn't fall asleep until 4am. I had to force myself to wake up at 9 since I have to meet someone later.
