My reasons for hating rap:

Rap seems to only have a few subjects. None of which matter.
From a technical standpoint, rapping is rhyming to a constant basic beat. Which gets immensly boring very quickly. And I guess that's the most of it.

Again, I'm no fan of rap, but just because the more popular rappers limit themselves thematically, this does not have to extend to the genre as a whole

Somebody give this man a prize. He pretty much just summed it up. (personally though I haven't found any rap that I like)

some people like rap, some people dont
