In 2+ years of living at this apartment, I have never been able to turn the gas valve so that I can cook. I've tried and tried, dunno if I lacked hand strength or what but I've always had to have someone do it for me*. I've never been able to use the stove when Kit wasn't home and when he was away for the holidays, I had to have friends come over from down the street just so that I could make Christmas cookies!
