Tribal shield = worst unlock thus far?
I'm wondering what this replaces since protection from 1 backstab isn't really worth giving up the smg or melee.

Not sure we know quite enough about it yet.
Does it work automatically?
Does it let you know when you've been stabbed?
Exactly how much slower do you move? Demo-slow? Soldier-slow? Heavy-slow?
The smg is useless unless it crits. I would trade it for that. Not the kukuri.

The smg is easily the worst weapon in the game, and being able to guard against even one backstab could potentially be well worth the slowed movement. If you don't like the unlock, then don't use it, but don't become one of those people who rage about it as if Valve somehow has the ability to please everyone, all the time.The Origonal Head Hunter wrote:Tribal shield = worst unlock thus far?

I agree. I think it'll probably go with the regular rifle better, since you'll probably need his full speed for the bow.
