Best movie full of short actors. But isn't this supposed to be anime related?

On Fruits Basket: The anime is very faithful to the manga until the last few episodes - not leaving too much out and expanding the Hana/Uo Sleepover into great comic fun.

Spoiler :

The biggest thing left out is the hat. It's not mentioned in the anime at all. Then they cram in Yuki going to Ayame's shop, Hiro's appearance and Ritsu's appearance and the Prince Yuki Fanclub meddling in the student council episodes before the whole Kyo's True Form section - which they spread out into like 3 episodes and have Kagura, Yuki, Hana and Uo have a say and throw in a 'showdown' with Akito to make a decent 'conclusion'.

Both the english and japanese versions are quite good too. I actually enjoy watching most of it in english for the comic wit added in.

TerraRose: Thanks for the synopsis. Fruits Basket is one of my favorite (if not the favorite) shojo manga, so I dreaded watching an anime hack-up. Maybe I'll try borrowing it from someone on DVD now.
