x3

I'm also going through a stage where certain family members are taking you down with their ship and only see you as their own personal ATM. :(

Ouch, that sucks Jen... :? Sorry to hear.

Daily vent: wake up at 5.30 am tomorrow morning to go to the hospital, only to might have too bad of a blood status and therefore needing to return the next day at the same time. It's currently 12.30 am and I suffer from heavy insomnia, usually tend to lay semi-dead in bed all noon to counter that... which I can't do tomorrow - yuck.

Also, double Neupogen injections stings. A lot.

Putting Sailor Death on "ignore" for the forums since the past 3 times I've seen his avatar I vomited a little in my mouth.

Dammit, I hate the autumn. I don't understand how people have this as their favourite season. As soon as the chilly, fall-like weather set in, I've hit some sort of brick wall as far as energy, motivation and mood. I suppose everyone responds to sudden weather changes to some extent, but bleh ~__~ The only thing I'm currently good for is keeping up with my work, which is unaffected since hey, it's still what I like to do even if my employers are douchebags. But work on its own isn't enough to wrestle me out of feeling blue this very uncool season.
Wish I could sleep till Christmas. Actually no, I'm not gonna be having an especially good Christmas this year either due to utter lack of money to travel and family being in Mexico. Maybe that's also part of my bleh-ness.
I wish I could sleep till April, only waking up for a couple of concerts along the way .__.

Weird, I had just the opposite reaction today. It's been cooling down, and I love that (winter is my favorite), but while I was walking about and putting in job applications today, nature decided to turn on the furnace. Heat absolutely drains me, so I was grumbling the whole way around town.

Oh, also, no worries, your last comment to me is the same thing everybody else has been saying, and believe me, I'm clawing at the walls to get a job and get the hell out of here.

Tiny vent for today: hair straightener broke, but I can live without it. Awkward curling iron, GO GO GO! (Stupid thing is that I was hoping it would break a while back so that I could replace the cheap piece of shit with a nicer one, but now I'm broke. I think it's having a good laugh at me right now. Actually, I'm beginning to think that the appliances in this house are planning my doom. The stovetop tried to electrocute me last month!)

Three canker sores, two of which are massive = the left side of my mouth is swollen. Yay. Unfortunately I don't have any Zilactin-B to use, so I pretty much have to rely on Liquid Advil and ice cubes to deaden the pain and try to get the swelling to go down, and coffee to deaden the pain and make my mouth warm enough that it doesn't hurt as much to talk or chew.

It always seems to happen at the worst times, too. My family decided about a week ago (before I had these things) that they'd hold my birthday party on the 2nd due to scheduling conflicts next week. The sores erupted on Friday, I think, and were more or less at their peak on yesterday and today. Trying to eat chocolate cake while suffering from these damn sores is excruciating, even if only because I can't open my mouth very wide without my teeth catching them. Plus the swelling leads to my tongue not working right and more saliva being produced, which make it difficult to feel like I even have control when biting into something without a chance of it running down my face and causing even worse pain.

Not to mention that recently there seems to be an almost guaranteed statistical likelihood of us having spicy food right when I get these things. It's like I start complaining about my mouth hurting and this is some signal for "let's have pizza/tacos/peppered chicken/sausages."

On the bright side, I'm at least hoping the worst is now over and they'll be gone in 3-4 days, which also means that hopefully I shouldn't have them on my birthday.

This is a really tiny vent in comparison with the others but it just majorly ticks me off when people do this and I just felt like mentioning it before I go mental and explode.

I REALLY HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE TELL YOU SOMETHING THEN ENCOURAGE YOU TO ASK ABOUT IT THEN SAYING "NO I CAN'T TELL YOU" OR "I DON'T WANT TO TELL YOU" OR "ASK XXXX ABOUT IT INSTEAD."

And I am not talking about once or twice either, I'm talking about MULTIPLE TIMES in the ONE conversation over a short period of time, let's say ONE HOUR.

Seriously. If you were going to be like that then why the fuck did you tell me about it in the first place and prompt me to ask about it? Congratulations in wasting so many minutes of my life and succeeding in pissing me off.

I don't mind people ranting to me, ranting is good for your mental health but what I hate are people who stutter and keep holding things back while leaking tiny tibits of info to you. It's almost like they've sunk their nails into you and REFUSE to let go. That or they just don't trust me enough to tell me the full story IN WHICH CASE WHY DID YOU EVEN BOTHER MENTIONING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?

Jeez.

-RANT OVER-

Now I'm back to being cool. 8-)

It could be the dark. Have you tried a light box or full-spectrum light bulbs?

The autumn is awesome. It's a time when you can finally stop pretending that you're ultra happy during summertime like you're supposed to be

Seriously though, I looked forward to this autumn. I was bored to death and had nothing to do except work (in a fast food restaurant...totally interesting) and on the top of that I seem to have developed a seasonal pattern of summer depression. So when I could start the university again and go to work much less I was happy. On the top of that I met a lot of new awesome people
