Re: What are you playing?
Tried to play Bioshock, but apparently it hates Windows 7 64 bit. Even when using every known compatibility mode >_> Updated all my drivers, still get no/sometimes audio, and random crashes I'm tempted to just make a partition and throw 32bit XP on it just to play the game @_@

Good to know, I was wondering if I should replay it. Now I know what to expect.ZephyrStar wrote:Tried to play Bioshock, but apparently it hates Windows 7 64 bit. Oh, and Bioshock is well worth playing. It's a fun and atmospheric game, if dumbed down a bit comparing to, say, the System Shock series, which I adore.

Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked. Got it back in November from my sister last year since her kids hardly ever played it, and I hadn't played it since December. It's pretty damn boring, and yet it's pretty addicting. The chopping seems to be a lil non responsive at times, though.

Dragon Age Origins. I was skeptical of the game at first, but find myself getting hooked slowly. At least it tries hard to be epic.

No don't do it! That game is terrible and overrated! Play something good by Bioware like Mass Effect 2 .Jnzk wrote:Dragon Age Origins. I was skeptical of the game at first, but find myself getting hooked slowly. At least it tries hard to be epic.

All Points Bulletin beta. It seems ok, could be fun for a few months. However, it seems that there are already some insane hacks available to ruin everyone's fun. See, this is why we can't have nice things.

Mass Effect 2 >>> Dragon Age: OriginsBeowulf wrote:Your mother is overrated! DAO is amazing! >:Odwchang wrote:No don't do it! That game is terrible and overrated! It was pretty much the stereotypical WRPG with Dragons, Knights and CHOICE. I'm sure folks enjoy the whole "choice" thing, but even then very few of your choices actually mattered and in the end, you still followed a fairly linear and predictable adventure that they already had planned out for you. All that changed was who was with you at the end. The game play itself was just Baldur's Gate 2 and I for one hate isometric RPGs so another strike against it.
Don't get me wrong, I know I'm in the minority here, but pretty much everything I've played this year is >>> Dragon Age, but also inferior to Mass Effect 2 which remains the best game I've played this year.
