What TV shows do you guys generally enjoy watching, outside of anime?
Personally, I prefer supernatural shows. My favourite three are the X-Files for classic badassery, Fringe, and just recently I got into Supernatural. They're all semi-related, but where Fringe is closer to sci-fi and the X-Files focuses on more original investigations, supernatural is all about classic rock, urban legends, cars and women. Supernatural is the cowboy show for today's audience. I was kind of skeptical before I watched it, a good friend really liked it, but I wasn't really digging the episodes on TV because while I enjoyed the humour, I really didn't get the plot. It is a fairly plot-heavy show, and extremely well done at that. I actually cried when a particular character died at the end of season two. That's how attatched you grow to the characters. To put this in perspective, the only other time I've cried for a show was when Hues died on the original FMA. Call me a pussy, but they build the characters so well that it's just plain saddening.
The character development is excellent, and Padalecki and Ackles are amazing actors, I don't think they could have casted any other actors that would fit the role and work so well together. Their relationship feels like a real brotherly relationship, and makes you almost wish you could be in their shoes. If you haven't seen it yet, fucking watch it. You won't regret it unless you hate classic rock *coughshuicough*, because it's everywhere on the show.
I'm only on season 3, but best two quotes yet imo:
Found this one on youtube, 'cause I didn't feel like typing it out off the top of my head.Sam: Dude, were you on my computer?
Dean: No.
Sam: Oh, really? Cause it's frozen now. On, uh, bustyasianbeauties.com.
