Do you guys write down your ideas when pre-making an AMV ?

Hey peeps,

I was wondering if you guys were writting down your ideas like -this special effect on this special lyrics with this special scene- because, I personnaly do but i sometimes feel like i'm loosing time.

What about you guys ?

I know some people do, not sure what detail though. I however don't. I imagine the whole video and let it play out in my head scene for shot ect and then try to make my imagination come to life. So while I don't write things down, I have a pretty solid idea in my head usually.

If the video will take a lot of time I prefer to write or in the case I'm sure I'll have problems with the making of

Sometimes when I'm brainstorming, I'll write an idea down. Most of the time when I have inspirations, I would actually try to build the video idea while I have it. If I get burned out on the idea or it does not go the way I think it should, I shelve the current alpha or beta version and then revisit it after a time. I've had quite a number of finished videos that started out this way, so it is one method you can try.
