I've been listening to them for a couple years now, and I love their old stuff, back when they were still doing Misfits covers. Bleah, some of their new stuff is good, I'm glad they finally made it Big. I just hope they dont turn out to sell out. What the hell is America's new obsession with Gothrock/punk? Soon we'll be hearing stuff like nightwish on the radio with the DJ screaming "BRAND NEW BAND CALLED NIGHTWISH AND THEIR NEW SONG 'SACRAMENT OF WILDERNESS'!!!" meh... oh well.

you know, I actually wonder how so many bands are getting the breaks they are.
I think the higher powers of the music community (MTV amung others) is bringing bands out into the mainstream to further this "scene" so they can make money off of it.
There are a TON of bands just popping out of absolutley no where, that you wouldn't think would be this popular for years.
Good Charlotte, seriously, what did they do people? I don't think they earned this
The Used, love them, but get real, it's their first CD, debuted in summer 2002
Finch, another one CD punk band climbing the ladder, what did they do?
Something Corporate, I think they're in the middle. Their unique sound has gotten a lot of fans, but I think the mainstream is hesitent to bring them in for the full ride, because they don't fit iun enough.
The Ataris, what exactly is it that made columbia want to sign them?
Simple Plan, is this because they're canadian?
All American Rejects, oen of their last tours they were opening for Home grown, why isn't Home grown all over MTV? They're WAY older, have a ton of CDs, and personaly I think they sound WAY better, they're one of my favorites. AAR have one CD. Really now.
A.F.I. is a band that could have earned their place, I think that they have. They're doing their own thing dispite the mainstream, and they're gradually getting more popular like a band should.
I think this all started with New Found Glory. They've been around a long time, several albums, and several videos shown on MTV for all of them. It tooks a while for "My Friends Over You" to catch on, but it finally did. I think some one saw NFG's success and decided to bring mroe bands in.
Many of these bands as awsome as they are by all ethical logical thought, should not be popular right now.
So why is it Good Charlotte has almost sold 2 millions copys of only their 2nd album?
