St. Anger

Post by FirestormXIII » Thu Jun 05, 2003 7:58 am

Anyone one get it yet?

I'm picking up mine today. Sam goody had it in yesterday, but they called while I was at work.

I hope this doesn't suck...

I've a feeling it will suck. I've heard a low quality version of St. Anger and Frantic already... and I'm vastly disappointed. I mean... I'm not saying it's as bad as Re-Load or Load, but it won't be great.

IC has a review up here that's worth a read . Yeah, this is a parody site, but the reviews cut the crap and shoot straight from the shoulder. A lot of interesting analysis in this one.

I'm probably going to buy it on tape tonight and listen as I drive out to Michigan tomorrow. No Metallica on CD. I've got everything from _Kill 'Em All_ to _ReLoad_ on tape and aint about to change....and plus it's probably got some bullshit Digital Rights Manglement on it.

Load and Reload are underrated.

But my favorite is Ride The Lightning.

????
thats very strange...

oh well ive heard a few of the songs, and the age is really starting to show. although the ex ozzy/suicidal tendencies bassist helps a bit, at least he is still passionate about his playing

FRAN-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TIC-TAC!

My brother got the album as soon as it was released. I think it's really good! Some great Trash parts and the drums just crazy! Heaviest since Master of Puppets I've read. Heaviest since Master of Puppets it is! The DVD's cool too. The new bassist's kinda weird.. Moves around like some freaking crab-thingy or something..
- Newbie: Hey, has anyone made a video like this: *insert idea that hasn't been done yet*?
- Old Timer: Nope, but that's a great idea! I'll go make that video right now and release it faster than you can even capture the footage!
- Newbie: D'oh!

I hate to say it, but I think this album is the worst yet, but I haven't heard Load yet, so...
The whole thing is just the same over and over and over again...
Sorry Metallica fans, this kinda blows... It hurts me as much as it hurts you.
