older songs - suggestions?
I have classic compilations of songs from the 50s and 60s, so what I'm really interested in is songs from the 70s, 80s, and even early 90s that people liked. I know there were *many* that I liked, but aside from the few I still have tapes from, I can't remember which songs they were. ^_^;; I know it sounds strange, but I remember liking the songs, just not the names of them or the artists - most I heard on the radio a few times and that was it.
What I'm hoping for are more well-known titles, things I might have heard on the radio 20 yrs ago. So any favorites from that time period would be much appreciated.

Heh, yep. I'm sure my brother had that on tape back in the day. He was a Queen fan. ^_^)v(ajin Koji wrote:Thanks Oto ^_^ There you go Ari, a perfect song!
Any others? I can do searches for general songs, but I'm really interested in ones that would have been playing on the radio stations - not so much rock or country as the 'in-between' songs - things you'd get on a general station that shows a mix.

Just did a quick google and found this site which features the top 100 hits from 1950-1983...
I bet you can check the Billboard Top 40 and 100 lists too for the other years you're interested in. I think you can find them online somewhere...
