Radiohead VS NIN

Post by kilik^ » Fri Jun 11, 2004 8:02 pm

i dont know why but while listening to radiohead´s kid A, i asked myself this question: if i would have the power to preserve for a longer time this two bands (radiohead or NIN) which one would i choose? i dont know why NIN came to my mind while listening to radiohead... but by giving it a second thought even though their music styles are kinda of different, their music is equally complex and creative in their own way. So who would u choose?

oh man...my brother practically eats, sleeps and craps Radiohead...and I think I can only remember one NIN song I've actually heard.....so I'd have to say that NIN > Radiohead =O

/end :?

Radiohead. I was never a big fan of NIN, I only really like "Something I Can Never Have" and "We're in This Together". Whereas I have The Bends, OK Comp, and Kid A, and am contemplating getting the most recent 3 (including I Might Be Wrong).

you mean amnesiac?

i might be wrong is a live cd with recordings of amnesiac/kid a songs (and true love waits since it's only played live). if that is what you meant, then you might wanna get amnesiac first.

Yeah, I meant Amnesiac, I Might Be Wrong, and Hail to the Thief. I love "True Love Waits". And the live version of "Idioteque" is greatness.

god radiohead's awesome live. the national anthem, you, talk show host and climbing up the walls are too damn much. plus their unreleased live stuff is crazy. big boots, big ideas, lift and up on the ladder should've atleast been made into b-sides. too bad the b-side for true love waits on i might be wrong is accoustic. :(

Radiohead.

I really don't consider NIN and Radiohead to be in the same nomenclature. Both of these bands are great and unique but I am going to cast my vote for NIN.

Well, I'm off to listen to Hail to the Thief :D

It is rather odd to choose between the two. I've only heard a couple of songs by radiohead, and I have tons of NIN stuff.
