I absolutely love that song. It's my second favorite Evergrey song.
And Evergrey is probably my second favorite band.

This was me three months ago.

Fuck, this is still me right now. The closing lock-in section just really nails it; even with how they've been playing since In Search Of Truth dropped -- not to mention how good the rest of Inner Circle is -- it's still wow, where did they pull this one from.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

I totally agree, Kai, this song really blew me away. As with Farlo, I was playing this song nearly non-stop for days. And I fear listening again, because I won't be able to stop... o.o

If you're looking for the video side then check out their video for "I'm Sorry". I like videos that has more of an art factor to it than the band just shredding away on instruments.Warheart wrote:Anyone seen the "Touch of Blessing video"
one of my favorite videos of the near past (not because of the video itself just because of the music ^^)

Well, based on this one sample that I got and am listening to now, (A Touch of Blessing), it's definitely something I'd enjoy - provided this level of quality is kept throughout their work (which I hear is true).
Nice, moody, comprehensible lyrics and excellent use of contrast, tension and musical texture.
If this is considered metal, then this is some of the most enjoyable metal I've heard in a while, and I have admittably been presented with several other good samplings recently...
I'll look into further samples... makes me wish I could afford to buy new music like this (could be a solid buy), but even my 'essential list' is way backlogged

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
