What are some good CDs from them to check out? I just bought Secret of the Runes, I like it but this is probably something that'll take a few listens to get into... are all of their albums like this one?

'Theli' is a definite must. The earlier Therion stuff is completely different, being death metal. If you're a fan of death metal, check out 'Beyond Sanctorum', probably my favorite Therion album.
