Why does everyone flip out whenver Snoop appears?

He's not THAT great. He's not that cool, he's just a washed up rapper from the ninteen eighties. I just don't get why everyone LOVES him. Guess it's kinda like how I don't see why everyone loves rap, though.

It's just that Snoop is everywhere it seems like, and everyone is ALWAYS flipping out of him, and it pisses me off.

You just don't get it, and you never will.

It's the same with any celebrity you can't stand. Why did all the girls go nuts over The Beatles (not knocking 'em personally but hey, it's a example). I'm sure people who couldn't stand them felt much the way you do.

Snoop i don't think would be considered "washed up" since he's not like puff daddy trying to re-create his image/style with each album he puts out. snoop has his thing and its worked for him.

and besides I still love it when I go to a club and they bust out some old school like "aint nothin but a g thang"

It's the Music Business.

Artists are a product and like any product they need 'hype'.
Music videos are the best way to market musical artists.
They show money, cars, men, women and the big lifestyle...
The consumer believes it and thus buys the CD.
What is a sale? Profit, income, revenues.
Incredibly simple to comprehend...for someone of the business world.

In Snoop's case, he's thought as 'Old School' and so revered.
In addition...
