J-pop&AMV=PB&J?

Since J-pop has taken off from the the underground phenomenon it once was (with J-artists selling moderately weel, and Hikaru Utada releasing an album here...to unknown success) You think AMVs could be on the same track if they incorperated J-pop into the mainstream mix? What if Major artists started using anime styed visuals in their videos ( Like L.P. did with Breaking the Habit)? What do ya'll think?

As you said....mainstream artists are already using animation. (Linkin Park, Daft Punk, Zero 7 though they don't use Japanese animation, and that's just off the top of my head.)

Its harder to do a vid using animation, esspecialy without it geting repetitive. Then again, enjoyment realy depends on the song.
