i found a group from sweden, from that i must suggest for anyone of you all to buy their new album "the human equation".

Yeah, I've been a fan for a while, and The Human Equation is their best album yet, in my opinion. Great band, very diverse.

Yeah, Ayreon's cool. I've mostly heard the stuff from the first album and got hooked instantly, but I'll get the new one as well. It's just that the mp3's are too hard to find on the net so I don't know what to expect from the music.

Anyway it's aigh.

Ayeron is a great prog band no doubt. But I always thought Arjen comes from the Netherlands .

I just own the Ayreonauts Only the Ambeonalbum he recorded togheter with Astrid van der Veen and both are great artworks of really talented musican(s).

[guess your right. new albums always have surprises in it. but you have to get it. it tells the stpry of a young man, who lies in koma after an accident with his car. the 20 tracks on the cd are not titled with track 1-20, but with DAY 1-20, because his coma is 20 days long.
every day he faces one feeling, or a good friend, or a memory.

i never heard a cd like this before, and now i´m a great fan of arjen.

Hm ... I don't really like concept albums dealing with a certain story line or those which consist of just one simple pattern.

if your not into keeping inrtact with a story or pattern
dont bother with:

God Dethroned
Cradle of Filth
Iron Maiden
Blind Guardian
King Diamond
Emperor

Most Death Metal and Black Metal.

Death metal for the pattern and subject
Black metal, most are story telling
Such as Cruelty and the beast from Cradle of Filth, entire album base on Queen Elizabeth

or God Dethroned, the blasphemy whore Mary.

but see as this, like thier music style, its like our AMV we try to do.
Make it Unique, following a theme
trying to do a beat synch yet lip synch yet showing the anime as if your showing all 50 episodes crammed into 5 min and keeping in the story of the lyrics.

sounds interesting. i never made a AMV, but i´m planning to.
and for everyone, who means storys in albums sucks, FIRST listen that cd, THEN decide wether to like it or not. basically i was a raver, now i´m a goth, listening to progmetal, punk and speed metal. but don´t tell my brother. he´s a real metalhead, and seeing, that i´m in that scene now, or better, that i´m a gothic now, who likes metal would be a reason for him, to be mad at me, because he DON´T likes me.

It does indeed make for some rather cheesy/corny lyrics. But with this album it's perfect. Honestly, it's like progressive space metal opera. And if you're worried about not enough variation (responding to your "simple pattern" remark), then you don't need to worry. There is plenty of variation.

Um. I'm not quite sure you exactly know what goth is. It's like the emo of metal.

letss not get into what a goth is cause there are several types of it and mainly the one streotype is pitiful.
I claim myself a goth but im not the typical streotype whiners I see on the clubs.
beside more posers than legits anyways haahahha.
