Metal!
so, i don't really know anyone's musical preferences here...
i found an awesome berserk amv here with Another Holy War by blind Guardian, so amazing, for a long time Blind Guardian has been a favorite of mine.
but, yeah, thats just Power Metal there, does anyone here enjoy the chaotic awesomenes that is Death Metal? say, Cryptopsy, Necrophagist, Morbid Angel and such?
maybe some atmospheric, grim Black Metal, Emperor, Burzum, Darkthrone?
well....the subgenres just go on and on...
any fellow metalheads here? Hail and Kill!

Aside from Opeth, Emperor, and Dimmu Borgir, I don't really listen to black or death metal much. Mostly because I don't have any others. However, I've heard a crapload of black/death that I really liked.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

A good resource for metal AMV and AMV metalheads is the sigbanner used by Warheart; dedicated to violent music and violent imagery, Globocide plays host to some of the best and most recognized in metal AMV.
The recs list in my sig is not online currently, but will be back in the near future. There is a lot of metal in AMV, including a bunch that never get publicized, and there are some great videos out there that seem to just go under the radar.
As for me......
CDs currently cranking:
Demons & Wizards - Touched By The Crimson King
Impaled Nazarene - Death Comes In 26 Carefully Selected Pieces
Dew-Scented - Issue VI
Sentenced - The Funeral Album
Running Wild - Rogues En Vogue
Nile - Annihillation of the Wicked
Maybe 1 video idea from these, but I've got a bunch of others to work out first....and no lack of new ones. Living in Germany, with a wide choice of supershows all summer, large "hard and heavy" sections at the equivalent of Best Buy, and a rock press that doesn't suck, is little short of awesome.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

And most of my recommendations come from Kai Stromler. I'll listen to anything if it has a good beat or good lyrics, or both. Mainly metal though.Farlo wrote:i listen to most metal...

\m/ \m/ Anyone here listen to Clawfinger? How about Naiad? Both wonderful metal bands.
Be non-conformist! (Everyone's doing it!)
