Metal Song with Arabian Theme

Post by Bardiel13 » Tue Oct 04, 2005 3:29 pm

Anyone know any heavy metal songs with a Arabian sound to 'em? Something like a guitar/oad duet or just electric guitar with that sound or the like. I'd appriciate it.

I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

Hmmm....
The Pharaoh by Edguy has a nice instrumental in it, although i'm not quite sure if that part fits your description, but i guess it's pretty close.
CNN War Theme by Moster Magnet has a few arabic sounds in it too
Merkaba by Tool has some of those sounds in it too.
And it might be worth to try out Soulfly since i think Max Cavalera became a muslim after he left Sepultura, i think he made a few arabic themed songs there.

While the band obviously had an Egyptian theme going on, I didn't really hear any of it in the sound. :| Nice, effort, though.
